As title sponsor of the 2010 Sasquatch! Music Festival in George, Washington, we decided to make the trip to the Gorge easy and green. So we debuted ridesharing initiatives through our carpool page and our partners at Zimride. It was a natural fit for us as a carbon-conscious car insurance company, and it proved popular with customers, too. The number of miles not driven was big, so let’s visualize.

We could come up with these equivalents all day, but there’s more carpooling to plan. Esurance is back as the festival’s title sponsor in 2011, and this year’s carpooling program will be bigger, better, and easier.

If you have Sasquatch tickets and an extra seat (or hope to fill one yourself),
visit our carpool page between now and Memorial Day.

And for the latest news on the festival itself, check out Sasquatch online.
