Though hard to believe, it’s October (already), which means it’s also Diversity and Inclusion Awareness Month. Or so we’ve heard. Though we can’t find much evidence for this designation, it doesn’t matter all that much, because at Esurance we believe in diversity and inclusion all year long.

Diversity and inclusion at Esurance

For us, it’s more than just a concept, a social obligation, or a catchphrase. From our Face of Esurance program, which highlights associates for their volunteering efforts (among other things), to our support of The Trevor Project in 2011, we’re all about making the world a better, more welcoming place for everyone.

In fact, our commitment to diversity and inclusion informs everything we do (and always has). As a car insurance company that believes in embracing diversity and promoting inclusion, we’re a long-time supporter of Pride events across the country.

Likewise, our associates also share in this commitment to community and, through them, the Esurance Grant Program has supported causes that focus on youth enrichment, public health, the environment, and animal welfare, just to name a few.

We’re proud of these and the many other ways we contribute to diversity and inclusion here at Esurance. And hey, if there is such a thing, then happy Diversity and Inclusion Month to you. If not, then happy Wednesday (it’s all the same to us anyway!).

about Heidi

Heidi brings 8 years’ experience to her role as Esurance’s copywriting manager. As a bona fide lit nerd and sucker for anachronism, she spends her days trying to incorporate Hemingway, Frost, and Shakespeare into car insurance (with varying degrees of success).
