As a supporter of Pride events from coast to coast, and a staunch advocate of diversity and inclusion, both in the workplace and in the world, Esurance is pleased to work with The Trevor Project this year. The following post, detailing our current partnership, was provided by David McFarland, Interim Executive Director and CEO of The Trevor Project.
If you don’t know much about us, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. Our mission is to end suicide among LGBTQ youth by providing life-saving and life-affirming resources including our nationwide, 24/7 crisis intervention lifeline, digital community, and advocacy/educational programs that create a safe, supportive and positive environment for everyone.
And you can help make a difference. How? By doing something you probably already do a half-dozen times a day: clicking your “Like” button. Through the current campaign with Esurance, if you visit Facebook.com/Esurance and click “Like,” Esurance will donate $10 to our cause (up to $50k).
Working together, we can build a brighter future — a future where the possibilities, opportunities and dreams are the same for all youth, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Help us spread the word and share the love by visiting Facebook.com/Esurance. All it takes is a single click to make a difference. Just “Like” or “Share” the page and let’s see how far a little love can go.
At campaign end, Esurance will donate any remaining balance necessary to reach our $50k goal.
